Congress Studies More Bilingual Ballots On December 12, the House of Representatives passed legislation designed to remedy problems with voting publicized after the November 2000 elections. The bill, H.R. 3295, would create a new federal commission to study how to improve elections in America. The commission would study, among other things, bilingual ballots. The Senate has yet to act on the bill. |
